Center Point Online Broadcasts Reach The Heavens

In early days of October 2007, Web Director Jason Wells, received unanimous approval for testing weekly service broadcasts, official recording started in the weeks to follow. Since that vote, the broadcast ministry has expanded to include Sunday evening services in conjunction with special events (Revivals and Church Programs). This past week, in Center Point’s regular July 2010 Business Meeting Session, a praise was given regarding CPBC’s online broadcast videos. At the time of the business meeting there were 606,703 total video views with an average of 554 video watches per day, a record that surpasses all expectations of the church members. Wells said, “It is great to see the Lord use such a small group of believers and touch thousands around the world.” In the Web Department’s monthly report it was also noted that in recent weeks, video views have increased by about 50-75%. Pastor Ollie Trout was pleased to see many people becoming a part of our Center Point Online Family. Wells and Trout both noted how believers can start something simple, small, and on a budget and reach the globe. It is the hope of the church to continue reaching others with our online missions that shows God can use anyone that goes in the name of Jesus Christ to point others to the Heavens above.
