Ollie Trout was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas. During high school he was active in various athletic activities. After graduating High School he attended Ouachita Baptist University. Trout graduated in 1957 with a BA degree in Bible. He took various courses to minor in History, Science and Sociology.

Trout says there is only one thing he wants the world to know and that is, “that I am a Child of God and that they can be on too.” Ollie enjoys being in outside activities such as walking, jogging, hiking, gardening, and even getting in shape for a road race.
Trout believes that Center Point Baptist Church is a great church for worshiping God and the people have a great love for God and one another. Ollie enjoys spending time with his family and even makes it a point to set aside time for his family.
Trout was saved at the age of 14 in January 1948 and baptized March of 1948. Ollie answered the call of God to enter the ministry in August 1948, at the age of 14. Ollie delivered his first sermon on November 19, 1948, at the age of 15 and 2 days. Trout received his license in December of the same year. On June 16, 1954, Bro. Trout was ordained into the ministry to serve God as a pastor.
Trout has two favorites’ verses from the Bible and they are – John 3:16 and Romans 5:8.
Trout hopes to see a great Revival take place in our church and the Southern Baptist Convention. He greater hopes to see a greater outreach to our surrounding communities and the world around us.
